Henry Lebermann, 1873-1941

Music teacher and orchestra leader of  TSBVI  from 1901 to 1938,  had a positive influence on such
students as Fred Lowery, Elizabeth Garrett, and Leon Payne.

Michael Corcoran, the Austin Music archivist, has a great biography of Henry:

Henry was Lowell Leberman's granfather. The 'n' was dropped around World War II because that particular combination of letters was ascribed to 'the enemy'.
