Mr. William H Miller, Superintendent
Texas School for the Blind
1110 West 45th ST.
Austin, Texas 78756

Dear. Mr. Miller:

This letter is in response to the secondary school principals’' position which is currently open at your school. I am very interested in such a position and do believe I have the qualifications you desire in a person to fill this job.

Approximately 1.5 years ago I had the opportunity to visit your school while supervising a practicum student who was under the direct supervision of Ms. Effie Eastham. I was very impressed with the staff that I met and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the school facilities. This experience created an interest for me in your school and the possibility of seeking future employment with your organization.

Currently I am enrolled as a doctoral student at the University of Northern Colorado, completing a degree in special education with emphasis areas in vision and educational administration. I plan to complete my program the summer of 1983.

Enclosed is a copy of my personal vita. I have contacted the University of Northern Colorado Placement Office and they will be mailing you a copy of my credentials. Also enclosed are a copy of my transcripts from the University of North Dakota and the University of Northern Colorado. Should you need the official copies, please let me know and I will contact both University Registrars' offices.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
